Scouting Report
Works with a fairly straight 88-90 mph fastball that touches 92 mph; good deception helps it play up. Fastball should get into the 91-94 mph range once he adds some muscle and matures. Breaking ball is above-average and sits in the 80-82 mph range. Throws a developing changeup in the low 80′s. Curveball has tight rotation and sweeping action. Joe Jordan said he looks like a young Matt Garza and he really does (see picture above).
