Scouting Report
Bennett Parry has a highly projectable body and frame suggests that he has just scratched the surface of his ability. Throws from 3/4 slot, allows all of his pitches to move. Sits in the 88-90 mph range with the four seam fastball. Flashes two separate style 2-seam fastballs, one with late sinking bite and another harder version with late lateral movement that he likes to use as an out pitch. Flashes some potential with a circle change up that has some nice fading action away from right handed hitters. Has a good deal of deception for a large pitcher with moving parts. Bennett Parry has “big man” mechanical traits and high release, but as with all tall pitchers it takes time to develop. Has to clean himself up mechanically and develop a repeatable delivery.
