Scouting Report
Acquired from Mariners in the Erik Bedard trade. Gold Glove winner; plus arm strength. Does not get bust jumps in outfield and and also does not always take the best routes. Solid range and can make plays with his back to the ball. Has trouble staying away from low and away breaking pitches, which was exploited frequently in the playoffs against the Yankees. Can really turn on an inside fastball. Above-average power and hit tool, and there may still be a bit more to come. Above-average speed.
