Orioles Hire Danny Haas as National Crosschecker

The Orioles have hired Danny Haas as a national Crosschecker, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports. Haas, 35, was drafted in the 18th round of the 1997 amateur draft by the Boston Red Sox. He has spent the last 10 seasons in the Red Sox scouting department.
