Orioles Re-sign RP Willie Eyre

The Orioles have re-signed RP Willie Eyre to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training, according to Roch Kubako of MASN Sports. He was non-tendered in December to make room for LHP Dana Eveland, whom the Orioles acquired from the Dodgers.

Eyre, 33, posted a 2-2 record with a 3.44 ERA, 4.9 K/9, 2.5 BB/9 in 18.1 innings for the Orioles last season. He will look to win a spot in the bullpen in spring training. Even if he does not make the club, he will still provide the Orioles with a little depth at AAA.
