The Orioles are close to a deal with Taiwanese LHP Chen Wei-Yin, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.
Chen, 26, posted a 2.68 ERA, 5.1 K/9, and 1.7 BB/9 in 164 2/3 innings for the Chunichi Dragons. You can read a scouting report on Chen Wei-Yin HERE.
Chen Wei-Yin will presumably fill another slot in the starting rotation and provide much needed depth.
