The Orioles have acquired OF Jai Miller from the Oakland Athletics for cash considerations , according to MLB Trade Rumors.
Miller, 26, is a .244/.328/.425 hitter in nine minor league seasons within the Marlins, Royals and Athletics. Miller posted a .276/.368/.588 batting line with 32 HR in 475 plate appearances , last season with the Athletics. He will presumably play OF for AAA Norfolk in 2012, although he will most likely get a look in spring training.
