Orioles Acquire J.C. Romero

The Orioles have acquired LHP J.C. Romero from the Cleveland Indians AAA team, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN.

In return, the Orioles send Carlos Rojas to the Indians. Rojas, 28, is known for his strong defensive skills.

Romero, 36, was originally with the Norfolk Tides before he opted out of his contract.

Romero has a 2.74 ERA in 23.0 innings between AAA Norfolk and AAA Columbus this season.
