Jeremy Accardo Elects Free Agency

Jeremy Accardo has become a free agent after he refused his outright assignment to AAA, according to MASN’s Roch Kubatko.

Accardo was signed to a 1 year, $1.08  million deal prior to the 2011 season. He compiled a 3-3 record with a 5.73 ERA in 31 relief appearances during two stints with the Orioles this season.

He will join Felix Pie and Chorye Spoone as the latest Orioles to elect free agency this off-season.
