Endy Chavez Placed On DL

The Orioles have placed OF Endy Chavez on the disabled list, retroactive to June 12th.

Chavez left Tuesday night’s game with a strained right hamstring.

Chavez, 34, has a .171/.202/.219 batting line in 111 plate appearances while playing mostly in LF and the occasional start in RF since Markakis’ injury.

The Orioles have presumably recalled Steve Tolleson, as he is in tonight’s lineup batting 8th.
