Bill Hall has cleared waivers and been outrighted to AAA Norfolk, according to a tweet from Bill Hall.

This marks the second time this season Hall was designated for assignment and outrighted to AAA. He was first designated for assignment when the Orioles called up Stu Pomeranz, and the second time for the acquisition of Steve Pearce.

Hall, 32, has a .222/.500/.556 batting line in 14 plate appearances for the Orioles in 2012. He will join the Tides on their road-trip to Rochester.
