Alfredo Simon is Officially a Free Man

Alfredo Simon’s manslaughter case officially came to an end yesterday after his hearing was cancelled, according to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun. He will be free of all wrongdoing now, according to Connolly.

Simon has a career 5.18 ERA, 8-12 record, and 17 saves  in 78 games as a starter and reliever for the Orioles.

At this point it seems that he has a secured spot on the Orioles’ 25 man roster going into the 2012 season.
