The Orioles lost a tough one tonight against the Athletics. However, the game did not fail in all aspects. I’m not exactly sure what Demarlo Hale was thinking at 3rd, but he sent 41 year old Jim Thome home on a shallow single to LF. Needless to say, Yoenis Cespedes was licking his chops.
We still love both Hale and Thome, regardless of this play.
