Trent Mummey Placed On Disabled List

The Keys announced that OF Trent Mummey has been placed on the disabled list. Mummey, Drafted by the Orioles in the 4th round of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft, has plenty of talent but has been sidelined with injuries.

This marks the second time this season that Mummey, 23, has hit the DL. He also missed a significant amount of time last season due to a concussion.

He has 106 plate appearances for A Frederick this season, posting a .244/.337/.344 batting line. However, he had been hot over his last 10 games posting a .294/.385/.441 batting line with 5 Doubles and 2 SB.
