Shorebirds Game Suspended In 3rd Inning On Sunday

Inclement weather forces suspension; Will be made up in Kannapolis

Salisbury, Md. – The Delmarva Shorebirds game against the Kannapolis Intimidators has been suspended due to inclement weather on Sunday, July 29 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The Intimidators hold a 1-0 lead.

The Intimidators took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on a two out double by Garis Pena.

The Shorebirds only hit was a Nicky Delmonico grounder through the right side of the infield in the first inning.

Shorebirds starter Zach Davies allowed two hits and one run in two innings.

The game is expected to be made up when the Shorebirds make their final trip to Kannapolis in August.
