The Tides announced that C Chris Robinson has been placed on the DL with a lower back strain.
Robinson, 28, has a .245/.309/.331 batting line in 181 plate appearances for the Tides this season.
In a corresponding move, RHP Greg Burke has been promoted to Norfolk from Double-A Bowie.
