The International League announced today that Norfolk outfielder Nate McLouth and pitcher Brian
Matusz have been named the League’s Batter and Pitcher of the Week for the period from July 2-8.
LHP Brian Matusz was named the IL Pitcher of the week after tossing a complete game shutout in his first game since his demotion from Baltimore.
OF Nate McLouth was named the IL Batter of the week after he hit .320 with 5 HR and 12 RBI.
