Arizona Fall League Game 1: Xavier Avery Only Oriole To Play, Goes 0 for 3

The Arizona Fall League kicked off today and the Mesa Solar Sox (O’s AFL team; shared with 5 clubs) started of the season with a loss, as they fell to the Phoenix Desert Dogs, 12-8. Xavier Avery was the only Oriole to play, and he went 0 for 3 with a walk and 2 strikeouts.
