Well Chen struggled I guess in the first three innings but he is making the pitches to get outs when he needs it.

No idea on crowd size. Its a shame the place is not sold out for Frank.

I saw Paulino point to his shoulder after a pitch, flying open too early. Since then he seemed to settle down some. He should be able to come out for the 6th if he can get another easy out here.

I have not seen any of that horrible baserunning we've been saddled with since the days of Dave Trembley. Maybe we finally have a coaching staff that can teach and get through to these players.

Last year it was Guerrero. He was an AWFUL baserunner. I don't think anyone in the league ran into more outs then he did last year.

I've wanted the Orioles to get a deal with Jones done. On this team right now I look at him, Wieters and Arrieta as guys to get signed. I know for some its not necessary yet but each looks like a real player.

Real impressive game from Chen. Looked like his pitch count would force him out after 5, got hit in the jewels with a comebacker, and manages to give 7 innings and 1 run. Couldnt be happier with the results from this guy so far

Im not nearly impressed enough with Arrietta to commit a big contract. He still has a lot to show. Consistency getting into later innings being the big one. Jones and Wieters are no brainers to me at this point.

I put Jake in the same category of Jones. Shows lots of promise, and shines at times, but injuries and inconsistency were concerns. Adam I thought was ready to shine, and so far he is. Jake with another season, hopefully his first fully healthy, I think will do the same.

Now if Zach Britton can pitch this year and show some of that good stuff we saw last year, then we have 4 guys to build around.

Not good, its looks like Hardy is limping a bit after that collision with Betemit. Better get him out of the game and getting some treatment.
