4-25-12 vs Blue Jays

4-25-12 vs Blue Jays

PostPost #1 by Rising O's » April 25th, 2012, 4:46 pm

For the Blue Jays:
Escobar SS
Johnson 2B
Bautisa RF
Lind 1B
Thames LF
Encarnacion 3B
Lawrie DH
Rasmus CF
Arencibia C
Drabek RHP

For the Orioles:
Endy Chavez LF
J.J. Hardy SS
Nick Markakis RF
Adam Jones CF
Matt Wieters C
Chris Davis 1B
Wilson Betemit 3B
Mark Reynolds DH
Ryan Flaherty 2B
Jason Hammel RHP

*stolen from MASN

Drabek pitched very well against us last series in Toronto. Hammels has pitched well for us so far. It should be a good match-up and a challenge the Orioles hitters need to meet.

Buck is getting smart by separating Davis and Reynolds in the line up. They strikeout way too much to be back to back in the line up.

Buck cost us a run in hindsight. Walk, no bunt for another guy not hitting, double play, double...no run.

Lead off walk to Jones. Let's get some more offense going.

Wow what a snakebit offense on that unlucky dp. Still we're up 2-0. Lets get another zero up.

What a nice surprise so far Hammel is. His ball has some real nice movement. Hard to believe Rockies gave this up for Guthrie. Something musta been different last year

Better than Guthrie has looked over any 3 games in his career. Where Guthrie was so frustrating in getting people out with 2 strikes, Hammel is just getting them out. So far we won that trade.
