Athough nothing to add on Kipp I did notice that both Tyler Townsend and Ron Welty played in the GCL today. Hopefully they will be back at full strength soon. Both players healthy would be welcome offense in the Bowie lineup.

Indeed. I probably should have mentioned that in Minor league scores!

Townsend lost a TON of ground this year with injury. Rather unfortunate.

Was told by minor league director there was no room for him. The guy can hit and has continued to improve, someone will pick him up. Good luck Kipp!

It was a numbers game and one of the signs that the reduced affiliate does more harm than good. I thought he was a decent prospect that could have been a solid replacement level player, but yet a guy that could have slowly improved to make a trade in order for him to get a shot at the MLB level.

I like his bat and I know another franchise will pick him up. He brings too much to the table and is slightly better than organizational.

These are some of the worst days in baseball and some of the toughest news to hear.
