RIght now we're on track for 86-76. IMHO that will not be good enough for the playoffs. We need to get 14-15 games over .500 for a decent shot... Not sure that is possible with our SP situation

I said it at the beginning of the season and I am going to stick to it. Regardless of how well we have been playing thus far this season, a successful season would be one in which we finish .500. Anything above that is icing on the cake. That would show significant improve that could be built upon for next year when people will be looking to us to make a legitimate playoff push.

After 14 straight losing seasons, I would say that it means considerably more than nothing, though at this point everyone will be disappointed if that happens.

You get a rejuvenated fan base and a team that believes in itself after playing well when not expected to. We are not a playoff team. Although I am enjoying every bit of this magical season, i do not believe we are good enough to compete with the top teams with an over-aggressive offense, just two middle of the rotation starters as reliable ones, and a crappy defense. A plus .500 team would delight me as a start as I have never experienced a winning season in my life.
