Norfolk's crowded rotation

Norfolk's crowded rotation

PostPost #1 by osforlife » June 21st, 2012, 1:29 pm

With Dontrelle Willis' recent addition to the Tides' starting staff, our AAA affiliate has 8 starters. Joel Pinerio should be coming up soon but I'am not mentioning him in this topic. IMO, I think Jamie Moyer will be called up to replace Tommy Hunter very soon. I stared the pitchers who I think should be in their rotation. Here are Norfolk’s starting candidates:
Jamie Moyer (Tommy Hunter) *
Miguel Gonzalez
Chris Tillman *
Zach Britton *
Jason Berken
Dontrelle Willis *
Brad Bergesen
Steve Johnson *
Who would you star?

Johnson and Bergesen have been out of the pen primarily as of this week.
Miguel Gonzalez could very well end up back there.

Tillman
Britton
both guaranteed spots.

from there I really have no clue, and don't really think it matters too much honestly.

I would really like Steve Johnson to start. He was pitching very well before his injury and is on the 40-man. Bergesen and Berken have no future as starters.

Nothing would be as fun if the D train could magically pitch like he did his first years in Florida.

That guy was so fun to watch when I was a kid.
