That's the Roberts I remember

Start off the game with a single up the middle after working the count full.

I wasn't sure he would ever play again after he couldn't handle sitting in a dugout for 9 innings earlier in the season.

It's awesome. I even admit I thought he was toast and mentioned they should consider cutting him loose.
I am very glad to be wrong. Happy to see him back and sparking this lineup.

Have to admit I was really surprised. I commented when he was here a couple weeks ago that he looked like a 35 year old guy who hadn't played in more than a year (OK he's only 34).

Not sure if it was being clean shaven or what, but he certainly looked like a new man tonight. I'm sure the club is happy to have him back, and it would be great to see him be the spark that carries them at least until the ASG.
