Stay around all day as there will be a post for each player drafted with as much info as I can find.

Don will be posting thoughts on some players later in the day.

Brandon Kline (RHP) – Though things aren’t as “free and easy” as they have been in the past, Kline is still shows a low-90s fastball with good life and angle to the plate. His slider shows potential and he needs a consistent third pitch to remain a starter in pro ball.

Really sounds like a RP to me. I have seen him pitch once, when has was in the pen. Very curious to hear Don's thoughts later on.

Listening a little to mlb.com draft coverage, their consensus is relief pitcher. His history is as a reliever pushed into a starters roll this year. Likely a below slot signing, looking to save for a roll of the dice later?

yup sure seems like it.
It's possible. I'm still not sure how much money Gausman asks for.

Adrian Marin: OF, Gulliver Prep HS (FL), 6'0", 170, R/R

More speed, more defense, but only doubles power. We have way too many of these guys.

You would think. Seems like a Dee Gordon type of player (not comparing him to that by any means). Speed is the premise of his game.

sounds like the general consensus is that this is a ballsy but good pick by Orioles. A few people are tweeting that they didn't expect him off the board this early.

Personally I like the Marin selection. If they can get him signed and settled into one position. Take your time and if it works out you really did something. Depth / talent up the middle really does matter.

I kind of like it too. Granted, I never have seen him play so my thoughts are moot . But he does sound like to have a ton of talent. Who knows how he fills out, and he was going to a very good school so obviously talent.

This review has him projected potentially at 2nd. Strong arm would be somewhat wasted though.

7. Adrian Marin, SS, Gulliver Prep (Fla.): Marin's best tool is his speed, which is a plus and made an impression on scouts here. They also liked his compact swing. He's added strength over time and has some gap power right now. He handles shortstop OK for now, but might profile best as an offensive-minded second baseman. His 4-for-9 performance in this tournament didn't hurt his stock.
