He eats 4 powdered donuts in-between innings also.
How can you not like that?

Should he start at Fredrick if they get him in the system quickly? Anyone who faces Frederick will pray they don't have to face Bundy or Gausman.

I would imagine so. Will be a hellish time for pitchers if Bundy,Gausman,Eduardo Rodriguez, etc are all there.

Gausman has the highest ceiling out of the college pitchers and in my opinion not as much risk as others.

Kevin throws from such a high slot and real high release point that all of his breaking pitches Sluve, Curve, Slider are all really one in the same. It is my opinion that he develop the power curve to gain some separation from other offering. He has only learned to throw it in the last two years and should be able to master the pitch in the lower minors.

The slider from that high of an arc has the potential to do damage, plus it is my opinion that it is a over gripped curve ball anyway that is throw harder and snapped harder.

Looks like they got the guy they wanted which is good. Hopefully they made the right choice.

BTW: This is not you guys on the thread or site. This is on the heads of some other people that lost respect for a long time ago in and around the community. This is from Alan Dunn (LSU pitching coach), just because I really never know what I am talking about spending almost 20 years in and around the game pitching.

“We’re trying to get a little more of a power breaking ball, a power curveball or a hybrid curveball-slider thing."

The kid throws 11/12 to 7/6 and there is all the hope the arm slot and mechanics to the plate, his curve ball will be the point of emphasis to improve as a professional....

Hey Don

Just wanted to say that your input and observations are typically gold in my opinion. Certainly they are always welcome. I know your busy but please spare us what your thoughts are, as you can following the draft.
