I don't care who it was against, or where. That is impressive

I kept watching the box score from that game and was amazed at his performance.

Here is an open question: Does anyone know whether Ruettiger or Glynn Davis has:

• better speed
• better range
• better glove
• better bat contact skills
• better power potential

I'll take a shot:

• better speed (Davis)
• better range (Davis)
• better glove (Davis)
• better bat contact skills (Ruettiger)
• better power potential (Ruettiger)

I could be completely wrong lol.
Good question for Don.

That's what I was thinking. Davis needs to develop the kind of plate discipline that will allow him to maintain an OBA of .370 or better to put that speed to good use. I see his future as a gap hitter but he could post a SLG of better than .400 if he puts on a little muscle and uses that speed to turn some of his singles into doubles.

Could you imagine the number of fly balls that would find leather in an OF of Davis, Jones, and Ruettiger?

BTW - I should have asked which one has the better arm.
