Current Norfolk Rotation: Chris Tillman, Joel Pineiro, Steve Johnson, Richard Zagone, Jason Berken.
There's not a ML STARTER prospect among them. Pineiro is a long man, Johnson's ceiling is a long man or middle reliever, and Tillman could be an impact late reliever once the team accepts that will be his most effective role.
Current Bowie Rotation: Tim Bascom, Bobby Bundy, Jake Pettit, Cole McCurry, Zach Clark.
BOBBY Bundy is the only legitimate ML STARTER prospect among them. Pettit could be a quality ML middle reliever.
Current Frederick Rotation: Kyle Simon, Scott Copeland, Mike Wright, Trent Howard, Justin Moore.
Wright and Howard are both legitimate ML STARTER prospects, but the rest all have ML potential.
Current Delmarva Rotation: Dylan Bundy, Tim Berry, Parker Bridwell, Tyler Wilson, Eduardo Rodriguez, Miguel Chalas.
Clearly, the class of the system. All of them have ML potential and Bundy could be a perennial All Star.
IMO, this list makes a strong case for drafting a college starter with the first pick in the up coming draft. After DYLAN Bundy, it may be a few years before any of this group makes a meaningful contribution at the ML level.
I would like to keep the current team together so the fans can having a winning team after fourteen years, but this list isn't going to look any better if we don't make a trade or two.
