Reimold to DL, Exposito recalled

The Orioles will place Nolan Reimold on the disabled list. As the corresponding roster move, the O's will recall Luis Exposito for AAA Norfolk.

I know almost nothing about Exposito so why him?

It is is an interesting move to me. Exposito plays catcher and thats it. Wouldn't have made more sense to bring up somebody that can play the outfield?

I would have expected Avery or at least Jai Miller to get the call since they both seem better than Chavez right now.

I like the move. Lots of lefties coming up so Paulino will be getting some more playing time now.

I could have sworn Buck said Paulino would get him some time with all the lefties coming up. Now they keep Exposito over him? I really don't get it.

Also, outfielder Nolan Reimold is feeling a little better, but he's still got some tingling in his fingers. He may get an epidural shot, according to Showalter.

I'm starting to think Reimold will need neck surgery. My wife had the same issue years ago: tingling in the fingers and then pain down the arm. She had a 45 minute procedure and spacer replacement. He could be back in 6-8 weeks
