Going for the series win today so they keep the momentum moving positively.

Nolan Reimold LF
J.J. Hardy SS
Nick Markakis RF
Adam Jones CF
Matt Wieters C
Chris Davis DH
Wilson Betemit 3B
Mark Reynolds 1B
Robert Andino 2B
Tommy Hunter RHP

Taken from MASN, I don't have the A's line-up but Bartolo Colon is pitching.

Mark Reynolds is such a better first basemen then third basemen. That was a phenomenal double play he turned

Fast game so far, which I was hoping for.

Very nice defense in the 4th, thought the Markakis play the guy was safe but the slow mo showed he was out by a hair. Reimold having a little bit of fun, and a little bit of misjudgment on that almost homerun. But either way, it keeps a run off the board.

Now Jones in center with a good play.

I don't know but I'm getting a very good feeling about this season. These guys are playing like a legitimate contending team. Whether they have the talent to do it over 162 games, is still in question, but its fun to watch right now.

Whatta game!
On Reynold's double play, don't you think he should have touched 1st base first to make sure of one? I know that would have made it harder on hardy because then he would have to apply the tag but Reynolds could have easily thrown the ball away. I've never played 1st base in my 13 year old life so I don't know the logistics of it, but I think it would have made a little more sense to tag first.

I think that Reynolds actually made the right play. It was scorched down the line and Ka'aihue isn't exactly a burner on the basepaths. Get the lead runner and you will still have a good shot at getting the runner at first.

I just figured he could have easily thrown it away. When he was assured of one by tagging the base.
