Is it just me or is anyone else impressed that in this 10 game stretch the team at worst is going to go .500 during this stretch? Just one win in Anaheim will give them a winning record in this 10 game stretch. Very impressive from a team not expected to do much this year.

Absolutely impressed.

To be honest, I was waiting for them to collapse at some point (although they still could in LA).
But the offense has been veyr clutch, the pitching has been pretty good for the most part.

So, why should we take seriously those people who haven't been paying close attention?

Same, I thought the Yankees series was going to be the beginning of the end like it was last year. Even if they do collapse in Anaheim a .500 record on this 10 game trip is still a success IMO. If they can just win 1 out there I'll be very happy with this road trip.

6-4 on the trip. Lots of frustration in the Angels series but at least they got a win.

If you had told me going in we would have had a winning record I would have been ecstatic. The first two games in this series were a little disappointing, but at least this team is showing some fight and determination. We have a closer who I don't have a growing feeling of despair everytime he enters a game. Maybe the future is finally getting brighter.

Was a joy to watch Chen yesterday. Seems to have a nice feel for pitching, and not just throwing. To me it's almost like he has the feel of a soft tosser but with more zip. THink I saw him hit 93 yesterday. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite O's

And we still went 6-4 on that horrendous road trip.
