I do not have an extensive knowledge on how difficult it is to gain access to a Visa for entering the country.
However, it seems to be fairly difficult for certain players, and it doesn't make sense to me. It seems as if quite a few players are late to camp due to visa issues. (Ronny Paulino JUST showed up today for the first time!)
Shouldn't clubs make sure they are ready before spring training gets rolling? Or do they not have enough power to do this? It's a touchy subject probably, but a guy like Paulino is really needed in camp as a Catcher. He needs to learn the pitchers and bond with them. Is there anything teams can do to speed the process up, or is it out of their hand?
