Orioles RP Average Velocity in 2011

Orioles RP Average Velocity in 2011

Orioles RP Fastball avg (vFA) in 2011
(these are who I am predicting make the pen)

Lindstrom 96.1
Johnson 95
Simon 94.2
Strop 94.1
Gregg 92.1
Patton 89.3
O'day 83.9 (lol).

That back-end of the bullpen can pack some heat.
Don also noted to me that on a good day Lindstrom can hit 98 and Strop could get up to 97.

Lindstrom/JJ/Strop is a deadly combo in the future in my opinion.

We drafted some real flame throwers in 2009. I'll look forward to seeing them in a few years.

Is anyone pushing for O'day's spot in the pen? Maybe wada if he doesn't make the rotation. Also, it might be interesting to put one of the young arms in there (maybe Tillman) if they don't get a rotation spot. Tillman's future might be in the bullpen anyways.

If O'day looks anything like he did in 2009 and 2010 he should be considered a lock for the bullpen.

Having a guy like that pitch between two flame throwers can really mess with the batters' heads.
