http://projectprospect.com/article/2012 ... m-rankings

1. Seattle Mariners, Jesus Montero (C)

2. San Diego Padres, Yonder Alonso (1B)

3. Arizona Diamondbacks, Trevor Bauer (RHP)

4. Texas Rangers, Jurickson Profar (SS)

5. Oakland Athletics, Jarrod Parker (RHP)

6. Kansas City Royals, Wil Myers (RF)

7. Atlanta Braves, Julio Teheran (RHP)

8. Pittsburgh Pirates, Jameson Taillon (RHP)

9. Colorado Rockies, Nolan Arenado (3B)

10. Washington Nationals, Bryce Harper (RF)

11. St. Louis Cardinals, Shelby Miller (RHP)

12. Baltimore Orioles, Manny Machado (SS)

Nice to see as most other publications have the Orioles as a bottom third farm system. I think the star power at the top makes them more middle of the pack.

Interesting. I agree that Bundy and Machado boost our system over quite a few others.

I was about to say LOL? at the Padres Ranking at 2 (I think they are top 10)
but then I realized he said high-upside and MLB ready

(but then again, the Padres did get some amazing pieces over the past 2 years)

I think that this list actually shows how Joe Jordan wasn't as bad as often made out to be. He stocked our farm system with some decent talent through drafts. Development on the other hand...
