According to reports from Venezuela, incl @russobilly the #Orioles have signed RHP Armando Galarraga to a minor league deal w spring invite

I always hope that any signing my team makes works out. Just not sure that signing a 17 year old softball player from a country that has never produced a major league player is movement forward. Maybe we can get them to revive The King and His Court and we can just play with 4.

As long as they keep showing an attempt to find international talent, I will not knock any minor move like this. It's all a plus in my books. You need to start off somewhere

Agreed to terms with RP Oscar Villarreal. I remember him from a while ago. Seems like the Orioles are just attempting to catch some lightning in a bottle. Can't hurt. Another body in camp if anything.

I see where Yahoo is reporting that on 1/17 the O's signed Armando Galarraga to a minor league contract. We all know him as the man with the "un-perfect" game.

I know he hasn't done much since but this signing I like.

Looks like the O's are close to signing Nick Johnson to a minor league deal.
They have signed Dane Sardinha to a minor league deal.
