A very well done interview done by Chris Stoner here.

There were a few things I took from this interview, but I'm interested in hearing what others thought before sharing my thoughts.

Without saying it, I think Dan is saying "Now is not our time." He seems to be aiming mor towards the future and building through the draft. I think he is taking a realistic view. My concern (not talked about in here) is that I see him saying one thing and doing another.

2nd thing is I think he is higher on Adam Jones than I would like to see him be. I don't expect him to move Jones this season. Oh well. At least I'll get to see Dylan Bundy to begin the season here on the Shore.

Just a thought but he might being trying to inflate Jones' value. Hey, it works for Scott Boras.

I don't see Jones moving either unless Atlanta gives up the prime time prospects we want. I think this is a very dead deal right now 8-)

Almost any deal is very dead...until it isn't.
