Would be very interesting to see what they discussed. Royals have a TON of relievers to possibly trade. I doubt they give up on any legitimate prospects for Guthrie though.

Wil Meyers and those higher are off the wish list. I like Guthrie, but that return is too steep.

If I am the Orioles, I would target Jake Odorizzi, Jeremy Jeffress, and Jason Adam.

Odorizzi might be able to pitch second half of next season. Jeffress is a power bullpen arm that could replace JJ, if he goes to the rotation. Adam is the prize IMHO, but long way away, pure projection power arm.

4) Jake Odorizzi, RHP, Grade B+: He has been a favorite of mine for three years and I see no reason to change that opinion, although he needs to work a bit lower in the zone.

14) Jason Adam, RHP, Grade C+: You could make a case to rank him ahead of the guys who haven't pitched yet. Seems overlooked and I think he could break through at Wilmington.

19) Jeremy Jeffress, RHP, Grade C+: Still trying to figure out how to use that fastball, but seemed to go backwards this year despite making opening day roster.

Yordano Ventura, RHP the kind of upside arm the O's could use, bullpen may be in his future though but he looks enticing

Jorge Bonifacio, OF O's need some power corner outfielders and he could be ready around the time we trade Markakis

Mike Montgomery LHP could be ready soon for the starting rotation. Maybe a mid season call up if all goes well.

There are a lot of ways you could go if you wanted some upside quantity from KC
