Well, I'd be more than happy to trade Bergesen + any B/C prospects for Floyd if such a deal is possible.

Apparently the White Sox are looking for a "Jimenez like deal" for Danks according to MLBTR.com. If DD does this we can losing seasons for years to come

How about Tillman, Bergesen, and Reimold for Quentin and Floyd? I would do this in a heartbeat. This would give the Sox a reliable middle reliever in Bergesen, and 2 higher upside guys that have not put it together yet. If they are really blowing things up, would this make sense for them?

Career:
Nolan Reimold 108 OPS+ , .284 BABIP , .342 wOBA
Carlos Quentin 116 OPS+ , .253 BABIP , .362 wOBA

You could argue both are below average fielders. Quentin had that one big monster year, but has never come close to duplicating it. I am just not sure I would be giving up Reimold in any deal for a guy that is really not THAT much better than Reimold could be with full playing time.

I just don't see why they would want Bergesen other than the fact he would be cheap.

I mentioned Tillman because I would deal him before dealing Arrieta, Britton, or Matusz and I imagine he has more value than Bergesen does.

Bergesen wouldn't be the starting point for ANY deal. He would be a throw-in.

Trading for Quentin = four months of Quentin + whatever he brings in trade on July 31.

I think the Sox want youth. Replacing Floyd with Guthrie actually makes them older.

No way DD pulls the trigger on that deal. Danks is really a cut above mediocrity (think Guthrie) IMHO. I would be all over Garza, who knows his way around the AL East, as my top trade option. I might even think about Schoop, providing I have Garza signed long-term 8-)
