Can't say I am surprised by this.

It makes sense to get another OF, especially if they plan to non-tender Scott. It also tells me that they do not trust going into the season with Angle as their 4th OF.

Either way it certainly makes sense to get a guy that can help out in the OF.

Also, I am pretty sure the Mets tendered Pagan a contract, so we would have to trade for him.
