Their AFL results are consistent with the success they were showing LATE in the 2011 season.
Mahoney hit well in the 2010 season and again when he returned from an injury this year. Avery was a surprise. He started off VERY poorly in AZ and then became one of the hottest hitters in that league for a month. I don't think that's a fluke. Remember, Avery has a LOT to learn and we will get a better read on him in the 2013 season.
