These signings are always important to rounding out the bench but they don't rate very high on the "wow" meter.

Again, the Orioles already had bench players on the roster and need to address guys that can clearly be everyday types.

Matt Antonelli of 2008 was a solid prospect, the 2012 version is closer to AAAA over a guy that can provide any value over Robert Andino or Ryan Adams at this stage.

I cant see why a player like this would need a major league deal. I'm assuming that means they've guaranteed him the major league minimum for a year, correct? Not bank breaking, just kind of like "Why would you do that?"
