Is Dan Duquette The Right GM For The Orioles?

I was pretty pleased with his press conference but one thing that stood out to me was.......

man...he is cocky!!

Well, if you look at his track record he has every right to be cocky.

I'm optimistic for sure. My brother is in the camp that they need to blow it all up and start over, but I'm hoping they keep some nuggets (but they'll obviously need to part with a few...). Duquette is mentioned in Moneyball, right? I think he'll be more aggressive than MacPhail, but since everyone's a critic, it might be met with mixed reviews. Here's hoping he gets enough time to make a difference.

haha...I think people would skewer him if he wasn't cocky enough. He has to make almost a decade out of MLB ops look like no big deal!
