Not to discount your findings but the flaw in them is that your leader board is giving plate appearances/at bats to players that played right field plus other position. An example would be Jose Bautista. He had only 511 plate appearances as a right fielder not the 655 PA's that fangraphs has given him. This is according to Baseball-Reference.
In the American League only 7 players out of the 88 that played right field had enough qualifying plate appearances for the batting title at that position. (502 PA) They are :Nick Markakis
Ichiro Suzuki 676
Jeff Francoeur 655
Nick Swisher 593
Torii Hunter 564
Jose Bautista 511
In this group:
Nick is first in plate appearances.
He is second in At Bats
He is fifth in runs scored (Team Stat)
He is first in hits
He is second in doubles
He is sixth in Home Runs
He is fourth in RBI (Team Stat)
He is third in stolen base
He is third in walks
He is second in the least amount of strikeouts
He is second in batting average
He is third in on base percentage
He is fourth in OPS
He is second in total bases
These would be the comparison to his competition because of the league he played in and the games played in right field.
Overall the Orioles are in seventh spot by OPS in right field. So middle of the pack assessment seems fair.
