The sad part of this whole thing is that he finally was in a groove over the last month. If he pitched like this his entire tenure, the Orioles would not have signed Kevin Gregg and may have kept Pedro Beato. There are a lot of actions in between that could have changed the entire outlook, if he were effective the entire stretch.
I am glad the Orioles got something for him. Strop has to refine some things and truly be given the chance to see if he can be the power bullpen arm that everyone sees out of him.
Glad Gonzo is able to play in the post-season for the first time.
