He's still in extended ST and I believe he's healthy. The shoulder injury after the TJ surgery really set back his career. Now they have to take it easy on him with the innings, so he never really had a shot at opening with Aberdeen.

I think Im at the point where if I could only pick one player from the O's to watch bat it'd be Adam Jones. Not much excitement going on in this lineup

Agreed. Jones continues to hit the ball hard every at-bat.

Matt Wieters had a .356 BABIP his rookie season. Give him that number this season and he has an .800 OPS easily.

He's hitting line drives 21.6% of the time. No doubt Wieters has been hitting the ball hard; there's just been a ton of bad luck. When his fortune turns around I think we'll see the Matt Wieters we've been waiting to see, not that we haven't seen flashes of that this year though.

Nick just not putting the fat part of the bat on the ball. Wonder if moving down in lineup would help or if its a physical thing that has nothing to do with lineup spot. Might help the team to move him down tho

Honestly, the worries regarding Markakis may be a bit exaggerated. He's hitting line drives at the highest rate of his career, and his .255 BABIP is the lowest of his career.
