Are they really using him? He's one of the last guys I would pick in the Tigers bullpen to save games. The dude is a LOOGY, as evident by his .299 .370 .431 .801 split against RHH.
Phil Coke: good peripherals but 9.32, 9.77, 11.83 H/9 last three years
Joaquin Benoit: solid K/9
& BB/9, but rising ERA & FIP
the last three years and freakish 1.77 HR/9 last year
Octavio Dotel: he's been a very good pitcher the last two years; probably their best option
Al Alburquerque: highly unhittable but worrisome control issues
Brayan Villarreal had a nice year last year.
Overall, I could definitely see them making a trade. Maybe they'll take Luis Ayala
(not too happy with him right now)
