My guess is they let him start the Sixth and see if he can cruise through it.

The difference in the game is that the Rays know how to manufacture runs and we still don't.

Chris Davis first pitch is a 3 run shot!

And I was just about to scream at anyone swinging at the first pitch. ;)

Jones could be 5 for 5 but the Rays have made some great plays on defense. Same with Markakis.

I posted earlier today that I thought that the team would have worked with him on his plate discipline for Buck to trust him in the 2 Hole.

This was free game of the day at MLB.com. Missed it while at work but I get to see the possible save.

Great numbers for the heart of the order!

We win...missed the save though. Well it will be viewable a little later on MLB's site I believe.

Obviously Adam Jones had a brilliant day. 2 doubles a single and 2 RBI.

Matt Weiters also deserves a box of chocolates. Not only did he hit a two run shot and a double! He drew two walks, one of which had David Price (a true Ace) completely flustered. That at bat will be forgotten in a few days but it loaded up Price's pitch count and changed the game as much as Jones' double did in the 7th.

-Neither starting pitcher was sharp today
-Longoria is one good third baseman
-I welcome the day the Orioles bunt with no outs and a runner on second.
-I was surprised we got to McGee today; the dude is a beast.
