Not the best way to carry yourself as a major leaguer.

Finally Tillman's showing signs of the velocity he used to have. Just hit 93 mph on the gun.

Really glad to see that. I was worrying that it was one of them deals where you see signs of an injury one year but the injury doesnt show till the next year ala Wainwright and his stiff elbow last Sept and then it blows this spring

MASN really needs to expand their commercial rotation. Same 8 over and over drives me crazy

Tillman's curveball is filthy. If he can command his fastball I think he could be a successful pitcher even with the velocity he has now.

Tillman has tweaked his mechanics as he is hiding the ball a bit better to the batter (say that three times fast) :D

He needs to hit the mitt. The guys are not picking up the ball right away and alot of split second guesses. He does not need the top shelf stuff and simply better command instead of spotting the corners tonight. I hope Mark sits him down after this inning to stress simply getting it over and not pick the zone.

I mean there batters a pulling the hammer up on everything. It is true tell that he has hide the ball rather well...

How so? Is he holding it behind his back a bit longer?

Tillman's thrown 46 pitches. Looks like we're going to get a good look at the bullpen.

He is not drawing it as far back as he did in my prior encounters watching him. Even slightly back, you catch the grip and split second have a clue what he could be throwing.

It is also nice that he no longer works off certain pitches. Watch him closely and he is not as quick to throw certain pitches in certain situations. Connor is one of the best in the buisness in the X and O department. He is old school and no sabermetrics type guy, but his knowledge on small minor things should push this young rotation a step further.

Yeah, I would like to see some life on Tillman tonight simply to take the load off Britton Sunday. The good thing is the early season and Guthrie giving everyone an extra night could mean the bullpen needs some work. They do rest on Tuesday, so the stress is not as big as mid-season, or ealry season without off days.

Tillman needs to stop touching corners. His last ball was 89-90 and they cannot pick up on it at all. He was late on a stair climber.
