It was a good win, but they need to shore up some things outside of Jeremy Guithrie. Defense was solid tonight, but they need to work pitchers a bit more. Way too many miststeps offensively and only one inning where they jump on bad pitches. They chased a bit too much tonight, but as they do say a win is a win and it beats being 0-1 any day of the week.

I am just glad that the start from Guithrie was not wasted because you rearly gets those types of efforts and have to ensure you win those performances.
