R.A. Dickey to the Orioles??

Seriously...why not?

One more year on the deal...$5 for 2013. We could extend him or flip him at the deadline if not in contention. He is an ace the Orioles need.

Depends on the price but I truly see this as a perfect fit...

The price is likely very high, and the Mets would probably ask for Manny Machado or Dylan Bundy.

At that price I would pass but if the asking price came down I'd be all for it.

The Mets want two premium prospects for him and there's no guarantee that he would extend. I understand your enthusiasm, but I don't see him as the right fit.

I would love to have him but as is the case with any player it depends on the cost.

MLB Trade Rumors is reporting that the Orioles are still talking to the Mets about Dickey. If the price is Arrieta and Hoes (or Avery) then I'm OK with it. If the price gets much higher than that then count me out.

NO!

I would have seriously considered Schoop and Dylan Bundy for Giancarlo Stanton, but I would only consider trading our any of our top three prospects for a long term impact player.
